Welcome to The Inspire Workshop! We are so excited for the opportunity to share this day with you!
The Inspire Workshop is for all photographers who are both experienced AND newer to the industry, as well as film AND digital shooters!
The day will begin with class time where we will go over a variety of topics like:
• Finding your niche
• Being a full-time wedding photographer/ portrait photographer
• Maintaining positive interaction with clients, from consultation to post
• Finding the right client
• Film, why we shoot it, how to price for it
• Setting up a styled shoot and why we do it
• Getting published
• Posing, location & lighting
Then we will have a Q&A lunch with one of our fabulous vendors. This will be a wonderful opportunity to hear from the Vendor's side what they would like to get out of collaborating with you on a styled shoot and how to not only shoot for yourself, but shoot for your vendor!
After lunch, we will move to the Styled Shoot portion of the day. Here you take turns posing and interacting with our model and various wedding props. We are here to help and guide you, but encourage letting your creative side thrive and creating a diverse set of unique images! And the best part of all, you will be able to submit your images for publication!
Location : Fox and Finch starting at 10am on June 12th
Cost: $300
Deposit: $150 due when reserving..the remainder is due May 29th, 2016.
Workshops should be not only about learning, but also about
building long-term relationships. In the interest of maintaining
an intimate atmosphere, seats will be limited to 12 people on a
first-come, first-serve basis. We will also create a private Facebook group for you to meet the other attendees and learn and grow from each other after the workshop has ended as well!
We encourage attendees to bring whatever gear they are comfortable using. Since we are HUGE lovers of film, we do encourage you to try it, even if it's for the first time. Camera rentals will be available if needed, please contact us after you book your date so we can see what the best camera match for you!
BONUS MATERIAL: Guide, times, submission guidelines, and vendor lists will be provided to attendees in their welcome packets. There will be some very special giveaways at the Inspire Workshop too!
